He really took time to listen and understand our needs (we wanted a large backyard to fit two huge dogs, as well as a spacious kitchen) and he made sure that every house we visited fit our criteria. One of the best things about Gary is his ability to give unbiased, honest feedback about each house. Instead of “selling” us on the house and trying to push us into something that might not be a right fit (like some agents do), he took the time to show us the good and the not-so-good aspects of each house, and taught us about what the future would look like living with those things in our home. After all, Gary isn’t focused just on the here-and-now, but he also looks at what’s up ahead and ensures that his clients are happy with their purchase for many years to come. Gary also impressed us with his patience - we saw over 24 houses with him, put in multiple offers (but got beat by other buyers) and even got accepted on a house that fell through (by the seller’s fault). And yet, Gary never showed frustration or pushed us - we just kept going to the next house. As he explained, “I’ve been in this business a long time, and I know that when it’s meant to happen, it will. When it’s the right home for you, everything will fall into place.” He was exactly right - we got accepted on and closed on the absolute PERFECT house for us - it was definitely worth the wait and we couldn’t have done it without help from Gary. We highly recommend anyone looking for a home (especially first-time home buyers!) to choose Gary as their real estate agent - they won’t be disappointed.

All around the best agent to work with. He negotiated discounts for my inspection. He stayed in the office until 10 PM to complete an offer letter. He also made sure I understood the terms before closing the deal. When a counteroffer came up, he advised me on the best possible routes. He toured condos with me late night and weekends. I am surprised that he worked with me during the holiday and midnight. He's a very knowledgeable agent and understands the Portland metro area by heart. we randomly found him on Redfin and within 30 minutes he responded to us and took us out to see five houses and he continued to take us out until we found what we wanted . And his car is awesome!!
